Concerned Taxpayers Of Putnam Valley To Sponsor Candidates’ Debate
The Concerned Taxpayers of Putnam Valley has issued an invitation to the Republican and Democratic candidates in Putnam Valley to attend a debate at the Putnam Valley Library set for Saturday, October 23rd, starting at 2 pm.
Candidates will field questions from the audience after an initial two minute per candidate opening statement. Each candidate will be allowed time to rebut the answer from their opponent once. At this time, the Chairwoman of the Concerned Taxpayers, Marie Zarcone, intends to use a moderator/panel format to structure the debate and it will be televised.
The residents of Putnam Valley are welcome to attend and it is expected there will be a good number of people who will be there to have their questions asked. People interested in attending should be at the Library and seated by 1:50 that day. Carpooling is encouraged.
