"I was born and grew up in the Bronx, graduating from De Witt Clinton High School, then enlisting in the Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Montrail during World War Two.
"After graduating from the Institute Of Architectural Design, I joined a family cut stone business and became both a journeyman stone cutter and a master rigger.
"I became vice president of the world’s largest hoisting company and was responsible for pricing and installation of hoisting equipment in most of the high rise buildings in New York, such as the World Trade Twin Towers.
"Being very involved as a volunteer in the Boy Scouts, I resigned from business and became ranger at Clear Lake Scout Reservation in Putnam Valley in 1972 (retired in 1992).

"The two years I’ve spent on the Town Board have shown my ability to work independently as well as being able to function as a team member.
"This term I’ve helped to balance the town budget, settle many lawsuits against the town at little cost, opened town hall on Saturdays for those who work during the week, with the supervisor, brought advanced life support to our town and updated our emergency plans, reduced our insurance premiums by over $95,000 while improving our coverage.
"I’ve kept all my election promises. We must continue the progress through long-term planning (not just being a caretaker government), sharing services with other political entities.
"We must look hard at solid waste management for the town, push the new master plan into being to help control our continued growth, and seek solutions to our water problems such as our two new water districts.
"All my life I was a Republican until about seven years ago when I became an Independent voter.
"Both the Democratic and Independence parties have endorsed me for re-election."
