Friendly spooks and spirits and goblins and ghosts are hiding at Boscobel, ready and waiting to frolic. On Saturday, October 30, from 10 am to 12 noon, Eileen Charbonneau, author of young adult novels and a Boscobel guide, will set the mood for a scary Halloween with a morning of storytelling and Halloween fun. After the stories, both children and adults can walk the Woodland Trail and look for the spooks and spirits hiding in the bustles and trees.
Children are encouraged to come in costume, and after the stories cookies and juice will be served.
Reservations for the Spooks and Spirits morning of fun are required and the cost is $5 per child. Parents accompanying their children will be admitted free of charge. Boscobel is located in Garrison, on Route 9D, 2 miles south of Cold Spring Village. For information, call Boscobel at 265-3638, Extension 115.
