The Croton River Numismatic Society of Carmel, New York (a coin club) will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, September 18th in the Guideposts cafeteria located on Seminary Hill Road in Carmel at 7:30pm.

Topics up for discussion will be National Currency of Western States, Liberty Head Nickels made from 1883 to 1913, Mercury Dimes minted from 1916 to 1945, coins of Switzerland, Queens on coins and the recent acquisitions of members 81 guests.

Because of the continuing large number of inquiries about the free appraisal of coins, paper money and other types of numismatic material, this free and valuable service continues to be offered at Society meetings or by appointment. All persons interested in the collecting of coins, paper money, medals and tokens are invited to attend Society meetings. Refreshments will be served and ample free parking is available.
