Police Report
Garrison - Putnam County Sheriff Thoubboron reports that on September 18, 2001 at approximately 4pm a 17 year old male from Garrison, was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A Misdemeanor.
The arrest is the result of the Sheriff’s Department receiving a complaint of a stolen American flag from the Walter Hoving Home in Garrison. An eyewitness observed the youth cut down the flag and drive away. The eyewitness was able to give detailed description of the youth to Deputies. Deputies later located the youth in the Village of Cold Spring were he was arrested. The youth was arraigned in the Town of Philipstown Justice Court and released on $500 bail with a scheduled court appearance on October 10, 2001.
