Red Cross Establishes New Help Line Number For Families Affected by World Trade Center Disaster
The American Red Cross, in an ongoing effort to provide the best service possible for families affected by the World Trade Center disaster, has established a new client HELP Line:

These numbers were established due to an overwhelming response from people affected by the catastrophic events of last Tuesday. Additional phone lines have been installed and will be operated by trained Red Cross relief workers in disaster mental health counseling, health services and family services. Volunteers are also available who speak various languages. Anyone with disaster-caused needs is urged to call the American Red Cross Client HELP LINE immediately.

American Red Cross disaster assistance is provided to people in need without charge. This is made possible by voluntary donations of time, money and blood from people who care. To help provide support for people in need following this disaster as well as emerging human needs resulting from this tragedy, contributions can be made to the American Red Cross by calling 1-800-HELP NOW or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish).
