Hatred Needs To Stop At Home.

Editor,

You know this name that they gave this ‘war’? Infinite Justice? I think it should be called: ‘With Liberty and Justice for ALL’.

I think of the men and women that are defending our country...it un-nerves me to think that we may loose more human lives. I am not a believer in ‘an eye for an eye’. I am grateful that the President has asked them to turn over the terrorists. It gives them a chance to do the right thing.

With all the emotions that we have running through our heads (and our hearts) over the past 10 days, I have come to one single conclusion...this hatred that is in this world, needs to stop at home. We need to teach our children tolerance and to respect one another regardless of nationality, beliefs and appearances.

During this struggle, we need to begin a war here at home against words like: different, weird, strange, and finally, the biggest word of all...anger. Begin this ‘war’ in your own living room.

Start that ‘war’ today.
