Philipstown Soccer Highlights
6th – 8th Grade Division

Pete’s Hometown Grocery –1, Advanced Waste Systems-0. In a tight well played game Alex Kingman scored the only goal with four minutes left in the game. Olivia Murphy, Jake Harms and Julianne Durr played well for Pete’s Hometown Grocery (Coach- Jim Cannon ) Billy Thom had the shut out in goal. Tom Szevin , Savannah O’Malley and Spiros Mitches had strong efforts for Advanced Wste Systems ( Coach – Don Durney )

Gregorio Contracting –1, Powers & Haar – 0. Gregorio Contracting ( Coach Bill Marsh ) got a goal by Emily Marsh with seven minutes to go to break a 0-0 tie and held on to edge Powers & Haar ( Coach – Peter Callaway ). Gregorio Contracting was led by the strong play of JJ Dean in goal, Greg Halama, Michelle Carano, Ali Lebron, Lily Rubino, Matt Calandrillo, Amanda Pedersen, Emily & Meghan Spratt, Amie Anderson, Max Tiffany-Miller, and Will Bartow. Powers & Haar ( Coach- Ethan Gallagher ) had strong play from William Haskell, Rocco Apollonio, William Callaway, Annelie Berner, And Goal tending by Noah Gallagher.

4th & 5th Grade Division

Garrison Fire Co. –1, North Highlands Fire Co.- 0. Garrison Fire Co. ( Coach Andy Homola ) played a very strong game getting excellent performances from James Dain and Monu Das on defense and Tatiana Gilmartin on Offense.

Philipstown Ambulance – 3, Cold Spring Fire Co. – 0. Brendan Galvin scored two goals and Brendan Barber added another as Philipstown Ambulance ( Coach- Jim Cannon ) defeated Cold Spring Fire Co. ( Coach –Felix Jimenez ) Willa Hine, Camille Mackey, Molly Freeman, and Lily Wiest all had strong games for Philipstown Ambulance. Matt Faherty and Stefan Jimenez played well for Cold Spring Fire Co.
