Albert Joseph Yannitelli

Albert Joseph Yannitelli, age 85 of Garrison, NY died on Saturday, November 10, 2001 in Fairfax, Virginia. Born in Garrison, NY on December 20, 1915, he was the son of the late Donato A. and Gelsamina (Venaruso) Yannitelli.

Mr. Yannitelli was a retired Uniformed Fire Officer for the City of New York retiring in 1960 with the rank of Lieutenant. After his retirement, he was the proprietor of the family business, Yannitelli Wine and Spirits, in Cold Spring. He was a member of the Uniformed Fire Officers of America and also a member of the Highlands Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, Nadia (Mobyla) Yannitelli of the home address, one daughter, Dianne Chisholm of Vienna, Virginia, one brother, Salvatore Yannitelli of Battle Creek, Michigan, and one sister, Theresa Indrieri, of Hollywood, Florida. One brother, Donato Yannitelli and one sister, Mary Oram predeceased him.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Loretto Church on Saturday, November 17 at 10am. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clinton Funeral Home, corner of Parrott and Pine Streets, Cold Spring, on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
