Agnes J. Valente
Agnes J. Valente age 84 of Cold Spring died on November 6, 2001 at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor. Born on April 8, 1917 in New York, NY. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Hannan) Miniter.
Mrs. Valente was a retired line worker for the former Sonatone Battery Co. in Cold Spring, and was also retired from the bookstore at Greymoor in Garrison. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring. A member of the AARP and a 50-year area resident.
Survivors include many nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. A daughter Maureen Valente predeceased her in 1976.
A mass of Christian burial was offered at Our Lady of Loretto church on November 10, 2001. Interment followed in the family plot in Cold Spring cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of The Clinton Funeral Home Cor. of Parrott & Pine Set’s Cold Spring, NY
