Program On Balanced Diet Offered By BOCES

Knowing how diet can effect our behavior is key to raising healthy, happy children. So says Dr. Seth Pearl, a board certified chiropractor specializing in child and adult clinical nutrition, who will lead a Nov, 26 workshop entitled "Changing a Life by Changing a Diet."

Co-sponsored by the Special Education Training and Resource Center (SETRC) of the Putnam/Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) and the Yorktown Central School District SEPTA, the seminar, to begin at 8 pm, will also focus on how food is digested and how subtle imbalances can be related to ADD, ADHD and autism. In addition, Dr. Pearl will talk about nutrition and the tools needed to formulate a proper dietary program. For more information, contact Irene Ross at 248-2290.
