Red Hot Mamas To Meet
Vassar Brothers Hospital’s Red Hot Mamas will meet on Wednesday, May 15 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the hospital’s Joseph Tower auditorium.
Dr. Lila Nachtigall, of the NYU School of Medicine (Department of OB-GYN), will facilitate the lecture on Perimenopause.
The Red Hot Mamas is seeking new and younger members. The group aims to educate women of all ages--in particular those who are pre-menopausal, perimenopausal or in full-blown menopause. Women who are experiencing menopause as a result of chemotherapy or a surgical hysterectomy are also encouraged to attend. The Red Hot Mamas focuses on the physical and emotional effects associated with all stages of menopause. Meetings are held once a month.
