Local Couple Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Warren of New Port Rickey, Florida, formerly of Lyons Road in Cold Spring, NY celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 29, 2002.

Organized by their children, a celebration took place at a surprise anniversary party on March 23rd at the Clarion Hotel in New Port Rickey, Florida. Fifty guests including family and friends attended the party.

Mrs. Warren’s sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Jackson, and her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Al Quirk of Beacon, NY also attended.

They received congratulation letters from President George Bush and Florida’s governor, Jeb Bush.

Their four children, Rhonda Warren and Sue Mulcahy of New Port Rickey, FL, Michael Warren of Kissimmee, FL and Tom Warren of Spring Valley, CA were in attendance.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Warren are the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren and on great grandson.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren retired seven years ago and moved to New Port Rickey, FL. Mr. Warren retired from Local 363, Newburgh, NY and Mrs. Warren retired from St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh.
