Restaurant & Tavern Association Golf Tournament Scheduled For August 12
The Dutchess-Putnam County Restaurant & Tavern Association will hold its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, August 12th 2002 at the Thomas C. Carvel Country Club in Pine Plains, NY (Ferris Lane Exit off the northbound Taconic State Parkway). Play is open to members of the Association and their guests. Format will be Four Person Best Ball Scramble, complete with prizes & a buffet at the conclusion of the tournament. The day will begin with Registration at 11:30 am and a 1 pm Shotgun start. Entry fee is $110.00 per person, and includes golf, cart, buffet, and prizes. For those who choose not to play golf but would like to attend the post-tournament festivities, the fee is $30.00.
The Association is also seeking Sponsorships for Carts at $50.00, Tee Sponsors at $50.00,. Listings in the Tournament Journal are also available, potential sponsors can call for price information on full, 1/2, and 1/4 page entries. Prize donations are both welcomed and needed.
Golf Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and must be completed by Friday, August 9th 2002 with payment in full. Checks should be made out to DPCRTA and all registration materials returned/sent to Carol Walker, c/o Southern Dutchess Bowl, 629 Rt. 52, Beacon, NY 12508 postmarked no later than Friday, August 9th.
