Shown above with Mike Weber are Michael Spain (center), a director for Mahopac National Bank, and Jeffrey D. Kellogg, executive director of the Putnam Hospital Center Foundation.
Putnam Hospital Center president and CEO Michael T. Weber (right) was recently presented with a check for $5000 from Mahopac National Bank as part of the bank’s pledge to the Carmel hospital’s capital campaign. The monies will be used in the third phase of the capital campaign to support the construction of a new building to house an enhanced Emergency Department and physicians’ offices. To date, the hospital’s capital campaign has successfully funded a new Birthing Center (opened in February 1999) and a new building housing outpatient radiology and physical therapy services, MRI center, pain management, state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery unit and physicians’ offices (opened in 2001).
