Putnam Community Service Network Seeking Nominations
The Putnam Community Service Network, an organization of public and private not for profit human service providers, will hold their Annual Awards Breakfast on Thursday, October 3rd, 9 am, at Guideposts in Carmel. The Network is seeking nominations for awards.
The criteria is an organization and/or community people who have made a difference in the lives of others through their accomplishments in human services or community services in Putnam County. The Network asks, "Isn’t there someone who has taken that extra step, given support when needed, made an impact on you or someone you know?" The Award categories are: Public Service-Individual, Distinguished Service-Individual, Distinguished Service-Organization, Professional Recognition, Special Youth Award, Buzz Burr Excellence in Media Award, Fred Dill Community Networking Award, Ruth Dain Outstanding Volunteer Service Award, and Norman Vincent Peale Outstanding Service Award. Completed applications are due by August 10, 2002. All nominees and all winners will be recognized at the 1& Annual Putnam Community Service Network Awards Breakfast. The cost is $12 per person. Please make reservations early as seating is limited; reservations are due by September 21st.
