Coin Collectors to Meet August 19th
The Croton River Numismatic Society of Carmel (a coin club) will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, August 19th in the Guideposts cafeteria located on Seminary Hill Road in Carmel at 8 pm.
Topics up for discussion at this meeting will be Washington Quarters, Indian Head $1.00 gold coins, large size Federal Reserve Banknotes, Coins of Newfoundland, U.S. Encased postage and the recent acquisitions of members and guests.
Because of the continuing large number of inquiries about the free appraisal of coins, paper money and other types of numismatic material, this free and valuable service continues to be offered at Society meetings or by appointment. All persons interested in the collecting of coin, paper money medals and tokens are invited to attend Society meetings. Refreshments will be served and ample free parking is available.
