Much has been expressed in this column regarding the potential intimidation upon James’ Pond by a proposed athletic track. Much too has been voiced concerning the history and delicate natural environment which sustains the pond itself, as well as that surrounding its presence.

A Modest Proposal
If James’ Pond is filled in to create the track and field for Haldane, why not put the parking lot right there? That way, no one will have to walk to see people run.
