Baseball Camp Award Goes to Michael Impellitiere
Congratulations to Michael Impellittiere for being awarded the Directors Award at the Giamatti Little League Baseball camp this summer. At the end of camp awards ceremony, there are six major awards given to baseball campers. Michael was chosen for this award out of 200 campers. The Directors Award is given to one player at the end of his successful completion of camp at the center. The award is given to an all around outstanding athlete, a person who gets along with others, loves the game of baseball, has the ability to play any position when called upon and who also exhibits superb baseball skills especially in the area of hitting. The directors at the Giamatti Center determine the award.
Michael has enjoyed his experiences at the Little League camp in Bristol, Conn. and concludes his Little League career in the town of Philipstown with deep appreciation for his coaches who have helped him learn the game of baseball and for teaching him the value of good sportsmanship and fair play.
