Our Lady of Loretto Eighth-Graders Receive Confirmation
Congratulations to the eighth grade students of Our Lady of Loretto’s Religious Education Program who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 17th. Bishop Dominick Lagonegro visited Our Lady of Loretto Parish to confer the Sacrament upon the students. Each student was accompanied by an adult sponsor who agreed to support them as they witness their Catholic Faith. Our Lady of Loretto’s Religious Education Program is spearheaded by Fr. Brian McSweeney, pastor, and Myrnae Burns, Coordinator of Religious Education. The students were prepared for the Sacrament under their supervision and through the dedication of eighth-grade catechists, Myrnae Burns, Diana Roda and Peter McFadden and seventh grade catechists, Lisa Brown, Patricia Fitzgerald, Anna McFadden, Matthew McMann, Diana Roda and Beth Whiston.
