Annual Auxiliary Coffee Break Raises Funds For Intensive Care Unit

The annual coffee break fundraiser coordinated by the Auxiliary of Hudson Valley Hospital Center was held recently in the Lobby of the Hospital. The $3,565 raised for the Intensive Care Unit was double the amount raised last year. The Engineering, Materials Management, Environmental, Pharmacy and Methadone Departments hosted coffee break this year.
Coffee break fundraisers started 43 years ago at the Hospital, is still a one-of-a-kind time-honored tradition and part of a number of fundraising programs spearheaded by the Auxiliary to raise money for specific equipment to enhance the services at HVHC. Fifty-one sites were participants this year so far. A coffee break may be held at any time, and individuals, businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved.
