Samantha Croney Graduates from Pine Manor College
On Sunday May 15th Samantha Lee Croney graduated from Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Samantha focused her studies on English with a concentration in Creative Writing, as well as pursuing a minor in Women’s Studies. Croney, a 2001 graduate of Haldane High School, graduated at the top of her class achieving Latin honors of Summa Cum Laude and received a B.A. in English. She plans to continue her studies in pursuit of a Masters’ Degree in secondary education and library sciences. Samantha is the daughter of Janet Croney and granddaughter of Chickie Pidala, both residents of Cold Spring.
Founded in 1911, Pine Manor College is a private, four-year liberal arts college that prepares’ women for lives of inclusive leadership and social responsibility in their workplaces, families, and communities.
