Garrison’s Tim Murray Graduated from DCC
Tim Murray, a Garrison resident, graduated and earned an Associate Degree from Dutchess Community College on Thursday, May 19th.
While at Dutchess Community College he competed on the track team as a Pole Vaulter and earned All American First Team honors from the National Junior Colleges Athletic Association. He is only the second individual athlete in Dutchess Community College history to win a National title. Murray won first place at the Nationals in the Pole Vault at Delhi New York. He will continue his studies at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn. and plans to compete on the Track Team.
