Adam Carano Earns Associates Degree in Surveying
Adam Carano, son of Lynn and Mike Carano of Garrison, recently earned an Associate degree in Surveying Technology from Paul Smith’s College. Mr. Carano is a 2002 graduate of James I. O’Neill High School.
Nearly 250 students received degrees at the 58th Commencement Exercises held at Paul Smith’s College on May 1st. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton addressed the graduating class and shook hands with each student as they accepted their degrees.
Paul Smith’s College is located in the northern Adirondack Park on the shores of Lower St. Regis Lake and encompasses 14,200 acres of forests, streams, lakes and mountains that are available for students to explore, study, and enjoy. The College offers both bachelor’s and associate degree programs which focus on experiential learning in a variety of majors including biology; fish and wildlife sciences; natural resources; environmental science and forestry; surveying; recreation, adventure travel and ecotourism; culinary arts and hospitality management; liberal arts; and business management.
