Description
The Garrison School promotes an excellent education for students who attend the school.
Garrison is a community located in Putnam County on the Hudson River. 50 miles north of
New York City. It is one hour by car and one and a quarter hours by train. The population
is 2,500. Garrison is a prestigious hamlet offering many cultural and recreational
opportunities.
The School consists of Kindergarten through Eighth Grade with an average class size of
17 - 23 students. The current enrollment is 232 students. Garrison has an all day
kindergarten program with a full-time teacher assistant. High school students can attend
O'Neill H.S., in Highland Falls or Haldane H.S., Cold Spring.
The Professional Staff consists of:
