Stony Kill Looking For A Few Good Men And Women
Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center, off Rt. 9D in the Town of Fishkill, is known for nature walks and talks, farm animals, school programs, hiking trails, gardening, special events., and more. The Department of Environmental Conservation staff that plans and coordinates these activities could not do it all without the help of an active corps of volunteers. Local teachers will soon be invited to bring their classes to the Center for Fall Ecology Lessons. Before the classes begin arriving Stony Kill staff and the Foundation are hoping to add few more good men and women to the roster of names of Volunteer Instructors.
