Cold Spring Antiques Show This Sunday
This Sunday, June 10th, is the kickoff to the antiquing season in Cold Spring with the Cold Spring Antiques Show. 50 dealers will set up early in the morning to get ready for the 9 am start time. According to show organizer Dave Cooke, "Dealers are coming from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and as far away as Massachusetts to sell their prize antiques." As usual, there will be a good selection of furniture: pine country tables; oak dressers and cupboards; cast iron furniture and garden pieces. Collectibles from the turn of the last century will include dolls, vintage toys, glass, china and silver. Paintings, pottery, and lighting will be offered for sale. "One dealer is bringing a collection of over 200 pieces of California Pottery. There is always neat stuff to be found at the Cold Spring shows" says David. Full Story
