Putnam County Receives Two Grants For Archives
"Putnam County Government has just received two grants from the New York State Archives and Records Administration. One grant in the amount of $60,000 to complete a conversion of County Clerk Land Records from microfilm to electronic images. Putnam Primary Day Election Has New Hours
The Putnam County Primary Election, which will be held on Tuesday, September 11th will have new hours, Election Commissioners Bennett and Scannapieco announced last week. The polls will be open from 6am to 9pm on the primary day. Those voters who are registered with a political party should have received their poll location notification cards in the mail last week. If you have not received one, or are not sure where your poll location is, call the Putnam County Board of Election at 278-6970. Full Story

The Philipstown Garden Club will be presenting a juried flower show and horticultural exhibition on Friday, September 14, and Saturday, September 15 in the program room of the Desmond Fish Library.
