William Duncan, Jr.

, age 58, of Garrison, New York died on February 1, 2002 at the Castle Point VA Hospital, Castle Point, New York.

Mr. Duncan was born on November 2, 1943 in Freeport, L.I. to William Duncan, Sr. and Dorothy Amos. He was married to Jean Wirz on July 18, 1970 at the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown, Cold Spring.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife Jean, one son, William Duncan, III of Nelsonville, NY, 2 daughters, Jennifer Duncan of Garrison, NY and Alison Duncan of Hoboken, New Jersey.

A former resident of Nelsonville, NY, Mr. Duncan was a service man for Downey Oil in Cold Spring, NY. He served in the United State Army between 1966-1968. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge #236, having served as a past Master, and the Garrison Fish & Game Club, Cat Fish Pond, Garrison.

Services were held at the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown, Cold Spring; Pastor Bill Weisenbach officiated. Burial followed in the Cold Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made in William’s memory to the Masonic Lodge, Cold Spring, New York.
