Putnam Highlands Audubon To Hold Annual Dinner This Saturday
The Putnam Highlands Audubon Society invites the public to its 2nd Annual Dinner that will be held on Saturday, March 23 at the Taconic Outdoor Education Center on Rt. 301 in Cold Spring. Wildlife expert Al Hicks of the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation will be the keynote speaker and will show colorful slides of moose and describe their present status in New York State. The guest speaker is a Senior Wildlife Biologist with the Endangered Species Unit and has worked with the returning moose population for twenty years.
