Indian Point Jeopardizes Our Property And Environment Editor,
There are a growing number of people in Philipstown who have become concerned with our close proximity to Indian Point. Philipstown is close enough that our property and environment are in jeopardy should there be a release of radiation. This Thursday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m. there is a very important meeting that the Westchester County Legislature is holding specifically to consider a resolution calling for the decommissioning of Indian Point. I urge anyone who is concerned about this issue to attend this meeting at the Westchester County Center. The hearing will be held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains (at the intersection of Route 119 and the Bronx River Parkway; also just off exit 5 of Route 287.
