G.O. Sweat Team Beautifies Rte 9D At Garrison School
Twenty six members of the Philipstown Community joined forces on Saturday April 6th to beautify the Rte 9D corridor at the Garrison School in conjunction with the Adopt-a- Highway program. Students and parents raked, weedwacked and worked together as the first of many beautification projects at the Garrison School. Pictured above are Amanda Pederson, Isabelle Homola and David Appleton. The beautification projects are part of the larger project "A Great Outdoors for Garrison" (G.O.) which seeks to create a beautiful outdoor learning and discovery space that will benefit all families of Philipstown.
