Habitat For Humanity To Start Project In Kent Search is on for donations and family in need of a home
Habitat for Humanity will soon take up the hammer and saw in Putnam County. Last week, the Legislature approved the transfer to the organization of a single-family structure in the town of Kent. The County, in a tax foreclosure, acquired the home, which is in disrepair. Habitat for Humanity will renovate the run-down building and turn it over to a still-to-be-determined family currently living in substandard housing in Putnam County.
