M. Christine Dolan

It is with deep sadness that the death of M. Christine Dolan is announced. Mrs. Dolan, of Hunter, NY and Sarasota, FL, passed away in Morristown, NJ on July 30.

She was born on December 30, 1917 in Worcester, MA, graduated from Becker College in 1939 and married John Neri of New York in 1942. After moving to Scarsdale, NY, she worked for The Nestle Company and General Foods Corporation as a staff accountant.

Following the death of her husband, she married Ezra Dolan of Rye, in 1975. Mrs. Dolan was actively involved in her community serving as Eucharistic Minister of St. Teresa’s Church in Wyndham, NY and on the boards of the Hunter Mountain Village Library, Meals on Wheels in Catskill, NY and the Palm Aire, FL library. She was recognized by President Franklin D. Roosevelt for her service during World War II.

She is survived by her loving children, Norma Larkin of Morristown, NJ, Connie Levene of Bedford, NY and Margo Neri of Cold Spring, NY, her son-in-law, James Larkin, her grandchildren, Megan & Molly Larkin, John and Katherine Levene, and Miranda Neri Ward. Mrs. Dolan is also survived by her sister, Sheila Donoghue, her niece, Sheila Ethier, her nephews, Neil and Robert Donoghue, and by their spouses, children and grandchildren. Her husband, Mr. Dolan, predeceased her in November, 2000.
