Melissa Dawn Szirmay Weds John Ralph Falloon

Melissa Dawn Szirmay and John Ralph Falloon exchanged their wedding vows at St. Mary’s Church in the Highlands, Cold Spring, NY on July 27th, 2002. The Reverend Father Shane Scott-Hamblin officiated the ceremony. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Northgate Restaurant in Cold Spring.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Judy Szirmay of Cold Spring. The groom is the son of John and Sandy Falloon of Cold Spring.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Monica Weise of Fishkill. Bridesmaids were Meghan Flaherty and Kris Edwards of Cold Spring, Dawn Lombardo of Fishkill, Meredith Conklin of Alexandria, VA; and Sandy Kanuk- sister of the groom- of Amenia.

Arthur Hotaling of Cold Spring stood as best man. Serving as ushers were Joseph Miozzi of Alexandria, VA; Thomas Corless, John Landolfi and Michael Allen of Cold Spring; and Ryan Szirmay- brother of the bride- also of Cold Spring. The groom’s niece and nephew, Kaitlyn and Kyle Kanuk of Amenia, were the flower girl and ring bearer.

Mr. and Mrs. Falloon reside in Cold Spring. Melissa is a kindergarten special education teacher at Putnam Valley Elementary School. Ralph is a firefighter for the city of Stamford, CT
