Carole Crosewald

Carole Crosewald (nee Weintraub), 64 years old, died suddenly at Saint Clares Hospital in Sussex, NJ on Saturday, October 12, 2002. Born to Alfred and Evelyn Weintraub in NYC, NY, she lived in Putnam Valley before moving to Rapid City, SD 3 ½ years ago

She was the beloved wife of Dr. Peter Grosewald, devoted mother of Carey Grosewald of Brentwood, CA and Gillian & Steve Raye of Wantage Twp., NJ, dear sister of Steven Weintraub of Boynton Heach, FL and loving grandmother of Ryan & Erika Raye.

Mrs. Crosewald received her BS from CCNY in Education and her Certified Paralegal from Mercy College. She worked as a paralegal with various title companies in Westchester, NY and as a purchasing agent for Putnam Valley School System and as office manager for Camp Madison, Felicia, Putnam Valley, NY. She was a Cub Scout Pack Leader, Girl Scout Troop Leader, Vice Pres. of Historical Society, Vice Pres. of Friends 0f the Library and Vice Pres. of League of Women Voters, all in Putnam Valley. She was also the District Coordinator of Westchester-Putnam Fresh Air Fund.

Arrangements are by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
