Musical Munchkins Offers Free Demonstration Classes

Musical Munchkins, a music and movement program for children 6 months to 5 years old & Winner of the Hudson Valley parent Magazine Award for Best Children’s Music Classes, will be hosting free Demonstration Classes for it’s upcoming Winter Session. Musical Munchkins is also celebrating it’s 10th anniversary in the Hudson Valley with a free registration fee and music tape.

Musical Munchkins offers a unique curriculum designed for each age group. All classes include a variety of musical experiences: singing, instruments, movement, dancing, song stories, songbooks, props and puppets. Teacher accompany children on guitar, autoharp, keyboards and other embellishment instruments.

Just as children learn to speak before they can read and write, children need to develop many skills before they are ready to learn to play an instrument or to read music. At Musical Munchkins, they are not only having lots of fun, but they are learning to keep a beat, enhancing their sense of rhythm, pitch, meter, and melody, speech and language while developing important listening and focusing skills, self confidence and self esteem. Free trial classes will be held on Monday, December 16th- and Monday January 6th. Ms. Andrea Soberman, Director and Owner of Musical Munchkins will be teaching classes in their newest location in the Historic District of Beacon at the Ballet Arts Studio - 107 Teller Avenue.
