Frank P. Scalzo

Frank P. Scalzo, a life-long Cold Spring resident, died on Saturday January 4, 2003 at Wingate at St. Francis in Beacon at the age of 87. Born on May 14, 1915 in Cold Spring he was the son of the Late Frank and Philomenia (Talarico) Scalzo. Mr. Scalzo was retired from the New York Central Railroad. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church, a 50-year member of the Cold Spring Engine Co. #1, the Cold Spring Yacht club, the Nelsonville fish and fur club, and an avid Yankee fan.

Survivors include one niece Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Critelli of Middletown. One Great Niece Barbara Alcedo of Cold Spring, and one Grand Nephew Anthony Critelli of Middletown. Two brothers and four sisters pre-deceased him.

Services will be held at The Clinton Funeral Home on Wednesday January 8, 2003 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in the family plot in Cold Spring cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of The Clinton Funeral Home cor. of Parrott & Pine St.s Cold Spring, NY. Donations in Mr. Scalzo’s memory may be made to The Cold Spring Engine Co. #1 Main Street Cold Spring, NY 10516
