Maxie E. Farlow

Maxie E. Farlow of Beacon, a former long time Cold Spring resident, died on Sunday January 12, 2003 in St. Francis Hospital. She was 78. Born in Newnan Georgia on October 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the Late Ernest Calvin and Nancy Panola (Banks) Adams. Mrs. Farlow was a homemaker. In 1944 she was married to Donald R. Farlow who pre-deceased her on June 8, 1987.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth A. Farlow of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Craig S. Farlow of Wappinger Falls. One daughter, Linda S. Anderson of Houston, Texas. One sister, Missouri Craven of Franklin, Georgia. Six Grandchildren also survive. Three sisters and two brothers pre-deceased her.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Clinton Funeral home on Thursday, January 16, from 9:00 to 10:30 am. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday January 16, 2003 at 11 am at Our Lady of Loretto Church, Fair St., Cold Spring. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of The Clinton Funeral Home, cor. of Parrott & Pine Streets, Cold Spring. Donations in Mrs. Farlow’s memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of New York 1250 Broadway, Suite 2001 New York, NY 10001.
