Ninfa Pellegrino
Ninfa Pellegrino, age 98, died at her home in Cold Spring on Saturday February 22, 2003.
Born in Palermo, Italy on February 2, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Agatha Gusmano.
Mrs. Pellegrino was a homemaker in Cold Spring where she had resided since 1955, a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church. She was an active volunteer at Mother Lurana Adult Social Day Care Center in Garrison, NY having taught art there.
She was predeceased by her husband Gustave Pellegrino, Mr. Pellegrino died in October of 1995. She is survived by one son and his wife, Gustave and Nina Pellegrino, Jr. of Hot Springs, AK. Seven grandchildren and their spouses, Patricia and Joseph Nelson, Richard and Rita Pellegrino, Sal and Evelyn Anthony, Robert and Lynn Pellegrino, Ronald and Ann Pellegrino. Seven Great-grandchildren and four Great Great-grandchildren also survive. One daughter and son in law Gloria and Nat Anthony predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 27, 2003 at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring at 10am. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clinton Funeral Home Cor. of Parrott and Pine St. Cold Spring, NY on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
