James B. Lenahan

James B. Lenahan, age 71 of Cold Spring, NY, died on Tuesday April 29, 2003 at Treetops Nursing Home Yorktown, NY.

He was born in Peekskill, NY on June 16, 1931, to the late James W. and Loretta (Barry) Lenahan.

Mr. Lenahan was retired from the NYS Dept of Transportation having worked for 28 years in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. He was a graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School, Niagara University and the RCA Institute. A resident of Cold Spring since 1951 coming from Peekskill, NY, he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church. He bad served in the U.S. Navy 1950-52.

He is survived by two cousins, Gerald W. Lenahan of Beacon, NY and Joan (Prout) Keon of Norfolk, VA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 3, 2003 at the Clinton Funeral Home, cor. Parrott and Pine St. at 10 am. A private cremation service will follow.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Lenahan’s name to the American Cancer Society Putnam County Unit 220 Route 6 Mahopac, NY 10541
