Dorothy Constantino

Dorothy Constantino, age 88 of Cold Spring, NY, died on Thursday May 15, 2003 at her residence in Cold Spring.

Born in Cold Spring on April 7, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mae. (McMahon) Heckler.

Mrs. Constantino was a homemaker, a Parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church, and a member of the Philipstown Senior Citizens. She had moved to the Bronx in 1939, to Queens in 1940 until 1956, Nassau County from 1956 until 1976, in Garrison from 1976 until 1988, at which time she returned to Cold Spring.

Her husband Angelo Constantino predeceased her; he died in September of 1974. Two sons, survive Mrs. Constantino; James Constantino of St. James, NY, John Constantino of Floral Park, NY, one daughter, Florence Diamond of Murrells Inlet, SC, one sister, Florence Whitehill of Leesburg, FL. Twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive. Two sons, Joseph H. Constantino and Thomas Constantino, Sr, predeceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday May 19, 2003 at Our Lady of Loretto Church Cold Spring. Interment followed in Cold Spring Cemetery. Under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home Cor. Parrott and Pine St. Cold Spring, NY.
