Lorette Cotennec

Lorette Cotennec, a Cold Spring resident since 1963, passed away on September 10, 2003 at her home. She was born in Bretagne, France in 1927 and immigrated to the United States in the 1950’s. She proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1996.

Lorette was predeceased by her husband, Francois (Frank) in 1987. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (and Robert) Pidgeon of Brownsville, KY, and Phil (and Donna) Cotennec of Cold Spring, NY. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Joey Basso of Ashland, Maine, Vicki Ezzell of Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Jennifer and Michelle Cotennec of Cold Spring, New York, and Brittany and Reinik Pidgeon of Brownsville, Kentucky. Two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Trinity Basso also survive in Ashland, Maine.

Surviving relatives in France include a sister, Annie Foret and a brother Joseph Poulichet.

Calling hours were held on Friday, September 12th at the Clinton Funeral Home at 21 Parrott Street in Cold Spring, NY. Funeral services will be private.
