Chanukah Celebration in Beacon on Dec. 24

"Beacon is one of the shining jewels of the Hudson Valley, attracting many artists and musicians to make their homes there and showcase their different cultures," says Terry Davis from the Beacon Hebrew Alliance. On the eve of December 24th, with no visible moon in the sky, Beacon will be brightened by various holiday celebrations. New Beacon resident Dassi Rosenkrantz-Cabo, a musical director and record producer for Debbie Friedman’s award winning children’s CDs "Alef Bet" and "Water in the Well," and an educator for the Solomon Schector Day Schools, will lead the community in candlelighting and songs, storytelling and games. The Chanukah celebration will be held at The Beacon Hebrew Alliance from 3:30 - 6:30 pm, and is open to all who want to share in the fun of the holiday.
