18 Year Old Arrested After Automobile Accident

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the December 1st arrest of a Carmel man for Driving While Intoxicated in the Town of Patterson.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 7 pm on December 1st, Sheriff’s Department Dispatchers received a call from a resident on Highview Drive in Patterson reporting a car had crashed into the woods at the intersection of Highview Drive and Bullet Hole Road. Sergeant Lee M. Stabe was dispatched to the scene, and upon arrival found the driver, Mr. Matthew K. Bilik, aged 18, of Carmel, injured behind the wheel.
