Changes in Childcare Focus of Putnam Hospital Center’s January Grandparenting Class

On Saturday, January 3rd, from 9 to 10 am., Putnam Hospital Center’s maternity department will offer a Grandparenting Class in its new Birthing Center, located at the hospital at 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel.

This special class will discuss changes that have occurred in childcare since the grandparents raised their children. In addition, it will include information on what those children (the new parents) are being taught on childbirth and parenting today.

Class sizes are limited and there is no fee for this course, however, registration is required. To register or for more information about the hospital’s expanded series of childbirth and parenting classes, please call the Birthing Center at Putnam Hospital Center at 845-279-5711, Ext. 2513, 8 am until noon, Monday to Friday.
