Our Lady of Loretto Youth Collecting Gifts for Underprivileged Children

For the seventh year, the youth group at Our Lady of Loretto is collecting gifts for underprivileged children at Our Lady of Comfort Shelter in Newburgh. Christmas Giving Trees are displayed at the entrances to the Church of Our Lady of Loretto and the Chapel of St. Joseph with ornaments suggesting the gender and age group of a child to shop for. Gifts should be wrapped, marked with the appropriate gender and age group and returned to the Church of Our Lady of Loretto or Chapel of St. Joseph by Sunday, December 21. The youth group is also collecting hats, gloves and scarves for the children. This is our opportunity to make these children’s lives brighter and, in a small way, let them know they are loved. For more information, please call the Parish Office at Our Lady of Loretto, 265-3718.
