Audrey Edyth Perpall Post

Audrey Edyth Perpall Post - Beloved mother and grandmother entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the age of 92. She was a lifetime resident of Cold Spring, NY.

On March 24, 1935 she married William L. Post II at St, Mary’s church in Cold Spring, who predeceases her. Audrey was also predeceased by her brother Frederick V. Perpall of Wilmington, NC.

Audrey was employed for many years at the IBM East Fishkill annex, as well as with the Haar Insurance Agency and the Law Offices of Michael J. Tighe, Cold Spring.

She was a charter member of the Eastern Star in Phillipstown, the alter guild at St. Phillips, Garrison, member of the Phillipstown Garden Club, the women of St. Mary’s Church and the Phillipstown Corral. For over 45 years Audrey was a faithful servant to St. Phillips Church serving as organist.

She is survived by her two sons William L. Post III and Gary A. Post both of Beacon. Also surviving are four grandchildren Jennifer Barnaba of Charlotte, NC, Hilarie Larson, Lansing, NY, Allan Post of New Orleans, LA and Michael Post of Beacon, NY as well as three great grandchildren.

Audrey was a unique treasure and her presence will be missed by the many lives that she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Church in Cold Spring, NY.
