William J. Clemett

William J. Clemett, age 79 of Fort Pierce, FL, formerly a long time Cold Spring area resident, passed away on February 5, 2004.

Born in Yonkers, NY on March 25, 1924, he was the son of Elizabeth Corrigan and Frederick Clemett. Mr. Clemett was a Ticket Agent for the New York Central & Metro North Railroad. He retired in 1989.

Mr. Clemett was married to Joyce Ott in 1950. She predeceased Mr. Clemett in 1984. Mr. Clemett is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Shroeder and her companion Donald Decker, of Port Jervis, and 3 nephews, Tom Tuner of Kentucky, Jack Turner of Florida and Brad Turner of Georgia. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Catherine Clemett and Marge Turner.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 14 at Auchmoody Funeral Homes, 1028 Main St., Fishkill, beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow in the St. Phillips Cemetery, Garrison, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
