Matthew Lloyd Stuen

Matthew Lloyd Stuen of Katonah died on Wednesday, February 4th. He died in his sleep from complications stemming from a seizure disorder. He was a Freshman at Widener University.

Matt leaves parents Cynthia Stuen and Rev. William A. Weisenbach and sister Emily Weisenbach, of New York City.

Dr. Weisenbach, formerly Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown, is now Pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Katonah.

Born in Manhattan April 11, 1985, Matt attended St. Michaels Montessori School, the United Nations International School, Garrison Public Schools, The Masters School, Dobbs Ferry, and graduated from John Jay High School in Cross River, NY.

A Business Major, Matthew discovered his love of the outdoors during a semester at the High Mountain Institute, Leadville, CO. He was known to friends and family for his gift of wit. "Matthew was a natural comedian."

A Memorial Service was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Katonah on Monday, February 9th. The Church is located at 31 Bedford Road. A reception followed at the Church Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to "The Matthew Lloyd Stuen Memorial Fund" of the First Presbyterian Church of Katonah [31 Bedford Road, Katonah, NY 10536].
